The Joan and Ben Zinbarg Camp Scholarship Fund was created to assist families who cannot otherwise afford to send their children to a Jewish overnight or day camp.
WHO QUALIFIES
- Jewish youngsters living in the Greater Stamford, Darien, New Canaan, Westport, Weston, Wilton and Norwalk areas.
- Children must be entering first grade, or higher, in September of the year they will attend camp.
HOW MUCH ASSISTANCE
- An amount paid to the camp is based on financial assessment of family’s need, after any subsidies, discounts and other scholarships have been considered.
HOW TO APPLY
- The application process takes place from February to March each year.
